RECOMMENDATION

 

THAT The Ku-ring-gai Local Planning Panel, as the consent authority, being satisfied that the proposed development will be in the public interest, grant development consent to DA0165/22 for change of use to a gymnasium operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with associated fit-out and signage at 751 Pacific Highway, Gordon subject to the conditions recommended in the Development Assessment Report (Attachment A1).  Pursuant to Section 4.53 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, this consent lapses if the approved works are not physically commenced within five years of the date of the Notice of Determination.

THAT the Ku-ring-gai Local Planning Panel, as the consent authority, grant development consent to DA0484/21 for construction of a new grandstand with café, WCs, change rooms, ancillary offices, treatment rooms, corporate and media facilities at the existing sports ground on land at 361A Bobbin Head Road, North Turramurra, as shown on plans Drawing Numbers DA01-DA-7, all Rev R10, all dated 25/2/2022 and prepared by Alchemy Architecture, subject to the conditions recommended in the supplementary development assessment report (Attachment A1).

To determine Development Application No DA0484/21 for construction of a new grandstand with café, change rooms, WCs, ancillary offices, treatment rooms, corporate and media facilities at North Turramurra Recreation Area (NTRA).

 

This application is reported to the Ku-ring-gai Local Planning Panel (‘the Panel’) to provide an assessment of the additional information required by the Panel when deferring the determination of the application at its meeting of on 16 May 2022.

 

This report should be considered in conjunction with the development assessment report to the Panel meeting of 16 May 2022 (Attachment A2).

 

RECOMMENDATION
